Will your captions hide behind the Reels buttons?

The numbers

Meta’s guidance for Reels ads is to keep roughly the top 14%, the bottom 35% and 6% on each side free of text and logos. On a 1080×1920 frame that is about 270 px at the top, 670 px at the bottom and 65 px on each side. Organic Reels have similar chrome: the caption, audio label and profile at the bottom, and the like/comment/share rail on the right.

Our interface overlay is an approximation. Exact positions vary by phone and app version, so treat the dashed box as the safe area and the shaded parts as “may be covered”.
