Why not just “Save image”?
Right-clicking a Facebook photo often saves a resized preview or a WebP file meant for the feed. FB Media Tools looks up the image Facebook uses in its photo viewer, the largest rendition it serves, and saves it as a JPG with its original pixel dimensions shown before you download.
Posts with several photos are listed as a grid. Download any single image or all of them as one ZIP. Alt text that Facebook generated or the Page wrote is shown too, which helps when you archive your own posts.

Questions & answers
Can I download a whole Facebook album?
Not in one go yet. Single photos and multi-photo posts work today. Albums need scrolling through Facebook’s viewer, which we haven’t made reliable enough to offer.
Are photos downloaded in original quality?
You get the largest version Facebook serves. Facebook re-compresses uploads, so this can be smaller than the file the owner originally uploaded. The dimensions are shown on each photo.
Only download videos you own, that are licensed for reuse, or that you have the creator’s permission to save. Respect copyright and Facebook’s Terms. FB Media Tools does not host any content; files come directly from Facebook’s servers to your device.
