More than a Reel file
Full vertical quality. Reels are stored up to 1080×1920 and often only that version is “split” into separate picture and sound streams. We merge them on your device so you don’t end up with a soft 720p copy.
The audio on its own. Trending Reel sounds are the reason many people want a Reel. The Audio tab saves it as MP3, or as the original M4A with no quality loss.
Cover and frames. Save the Reel’s cover image, or pause the preview and grab any frame at full resolution for a thumbnail.
Ready to repost (your own Reels). After saving, press Edit to trim, compress for WhatsApp, or reframe to 4:5 or 1:1 for other placements. It all runs locally. See the Reels resizer.

Questions & answers
Do downloaded Facebook Reels have a watermark?
Facebook doesn’t burn a watermark into Reels files, so the download is the clean video as uploaded. If the creator added text or a logo inside the video itself, that stays.
Can I download just the music from a Reel?
Yes. Open the Audio tab after pasting the link and pick MP3 or M4A. Note that licensed music in Reels belongs to its rights holders; use it only where you’re allowed to.
Why is my Reel 720p instead of 1080p?
Facebook only keeps the resolution that was uploaded. If the creator uploaded 720p, that’s the best available. When a 1080p stream exists we list it first, marked Best.
How do I repost a Reel to Instagram, TikTok or Shorts?
Only repost Reels you made or have permission to use. All three platforms take 9:16 MP4 in H.264. Tick Convert to H.264 if the best stream is AV1, or use the Reels resizer to export 1080×1920 H.264.
